Are vidal sassoon hair straighteners good?
i have one . i love it .Are vidal sassoon hair straighteners good?
I used to have a Vidal Sassoon (I have a GHD now) and I've got really thick hair and I actually thought it was a pretty good straightener considering how cheap it is. =]Are vidal sassoon hair straighteners good?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
dont waste your money. if your hair is thicker then thread then theyre crap. they make your hair dull, not even straight and are very damaging.

Is a Vidal Sassoon hair straightener from Wal-Mart for $10.00 a good choice?
or should I invest in something else?Is a Vidal Sassoon hair straightener from Wal-Mart for $10.00 a good choice?
no, i bought one beacuse someone said it was good and it sucks. Is a Vidal Sassoon hair straightener from Wal-Mart for $10.00 a good choice?
I use Revlon flat iron. You can get out of the shower and use it right away instead of a blow drier. It even turns off if it sees your not using it after a while.I paid a little more but it goes from wet to straight and sometimes I don't feel like blow drying.I heard the best product to use is the Maxi glide they have on tv.It's like $99 dollar though. For that much it better grow a hand and do it for me lol.If it's 10 it doesn't sound like it's going to do much.Mine is like $19.99.Good luck and don't forget to deep condition!!
invest in something else.
unless you have super thin hair.
vidal sassoon sucks on anything but super thin hair
No because its not worth it. I bought one like the one your talking about and it took 6 minutes to heat up, it didnt even get that hot, and it didnt work that well because ive got superthick hair. You get what you pay for. Invest in a different brand thats a little more expensive.
I have a con-air that dries and straightens at the same time....VERY convenient
I'm sorry to say it but you should probably invest in something more expensive live a chi or something because a lot of the time a cheap one will fry your hair and most of the time they either break or stop working after about a week.
try a chi, it price is about 100$-200$ but it is worth it. but do not buy it from eBay those are the ones that the people buy and something happen to it and they send it back to chi company and chi company fix it and sell it to vendors and vendors sell it on eBay. try buying it out one of salon stores in the mall are maybe a local Sally's beauty stores
yes I have that and it has lasted for a year
CHI is the greatest straightener! I just got mine and I will not use anything else Yes it was expensive but it was well worth it. Try ebay you could get it cheaper!
Go to Sally Beauty and Supply and get a ceramic flat iron. Get one in the 30 dollar range though.Electric Bicycle

Has anyone used a Revlon or Vidal Sassoon hair straightener?
What is your experience with the two brands? Which is better?
(By any chance, has anyone used the Revlon wet and set hair straightener?)Has anyone used a Revlon or Vidal Sassoon hair straightener?
I have never tried the wet to straight flat iron, but I know they are NOT good for your hair at all. Hair is most vulnerable to damage %26amp; heat when it is wet, %26amp; no matter how a straightener is advertised, even if it says it works great on wet hair, it will RUIN YOUR HAIR %26amp; give you tons of split ends, as well as rough, dry, tangled strands. I have tried a Revlon %26amp; it didn't work too well. I have thick, soft, shoulder length wavy hair, %26amp; it is in good condition but Revlon did not keep it straight at all. It stayed straight for literally 15 minutes before I saw my waves again. My friend, who has thick curly long hair uses the vidal sassoon %26amp; her hair looks amazing every morning. I've never used it, so I wouldn't know, but judging by my friend's hair, I'd say the vidal sassoon works pretty well. As with any flat iron though, make sure you use hair products such as heat protectants. I highly recommend Tresemme Heat Tamer %26amp; tresemme Anti-Frizz Secret. They work to keep your hair straight %26amp; protected from heat, as well as reduce flyaways %26amp; frizz. Happy Straightening!Has anyone used a Revlon or Vidal Sassoon hair straightener?
I used to have a couple of pairs pf vidal sassoon ones. They were part of the pro-elite collection and they are really good for people who have really thin hair.
'Wet and set' or 'wet to dry' hair straighteners crap out on people all the time. They do dry your hair but your hair is never 'straight' so I wouldn't waste your time. I have a Revlon and it had the black panels, but gold is good too. Vidal Sassoon is 'ok' but not so great... I guess it might depend. i really love Revlons, but you don't want the small ones unless you have thin hair... or if you have a lot of time to straighten your hair. If you want quick straight hair then use a Revlon, I have one and it's really good... give it a chance and let me know how ya like it. Good luck! =]
I've used both, I prefer the Vidal Sassoon flat iron, the wet and set doesn't do so well, I usually have to use that and then go over it again with the sassoon straightner.

Is the Vidal Sassoon Hair Straightener for Normal Hair a good buy?
I really need a new hair straightener, one that doesn't damage my hair, calms down frizz, and makes my hair shiny. Solia, Chi etc. ones are just too expensive for me. The Vidal Sassoon Straightener For Normal Hair doesn't cost very much, but is it good quality? Is the Vidal Sassoon Hair Straightener for Normal Hair a good buy?
I have a Vidal Sassoon Hair Straightener. It sucks for my type of hair (Extreme curls), but maybe it might be good for you. I got a cotex one recently, it works really well, but its pretty expensive =)Is the Vidal Sassoon Hair Straightener for Normal Hair a good buy?
I have a vidal sassoon hair straightener that wasn't very expensive and it works really well for me. It does make my hair a bit frizzy with fly aways ect but most hair straighteners do. For the price of the hair straightener it is very good quality, it lasted three years.
If you have already straight hair, then it will probably work fine. But the expensive ones really are worth it and will last longer and not damage your hair as much. (Though you should still use a heat protectant)
